The Leicester Comedy Festival is here soon (Feb 8 -17) and as usual Ship of Fools is putting on 5 nights of comedy at The Looking Glass plus a terrific show at the Richard Attenborough Centre (Lancaster Road, next to the Fire Station) and a night at Bosworth Studio Theatre in Desford.

Ship of Fools is Leicester's independent comedy club based at The Looking Glass in Leicester's West End ! Since it began in April 2002, the club has provided a fortnightly mixture of top-quality headlining acts from the national circuit alongside emerging new talent from the East Midlands. Recent acts include Sarah Kendall, nominated for the Perrier Award at this year's Edinburgh Fringe, and most of our headliners are regular performers at The Comedy Store, Jongleurs, and other major venues.

As well as the regular club nights at The Looking Glass, we often put on shows at other venues, such as Phoenix Arts and the Summer Raspberry in De Montfort Hall's Festival Marquee.
